Cognitive Functional Evaluations are done in clinic. We offer both one and two-day assessments. The assessment looks at determining a client’s level of cognitive and perceptual function through standardized tools and observation of functional/work simulation activities.  The assessment can compare a client’s current function to that required of the demands of their job.  The assessment could also be used as a baseline tool. The CFCE testing also looks at reliability of cognitive reports and consistency of effort. This evaluator is trained using the Matheson System.

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)

A Functional Capacity Evaluation collects objective information relevant to the determination of feasibility for employment. This includes identifying individual’s strength and abilities by the following activities: standardized tests, physical effort testing, reliability of pain reporting, real or work simulated activities and standardized questionnaires. Normally done over a one day period or two half days.

This evaluator is trained using the Matheson System
